Selecting the right oil to use

You can use most any cooking oil, as one works about as well as another. The flavor and nutrition are the two most important considerations. I have used many including sunflower, soy, corn, peanut and olive. Now I try to use olive most of the time since I can get good quality and good flavor at a price that I can justify. On occasion we have peanut, corn or soy left over from cooking scones at The Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire and I try to use it up before I buy more. When making my selection I try to avoid any product that is not made from a natural food. Of all that are available my first choice is olive my second is corn and I prefer peanut for cooking.
